Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed,” co-host Shannon Sharpe criticized Pittsburgh Steelers tackle and former Army Ranger and Afghan war veteran Alejandro Villanueva’s decision (as his flunky Skip Bayless nods in agreement) to stand for the National Anthem.
He goes on to say that Villanueva "put his personal feelings and beliefs in front of that of the team.” He then continues to say that "we criticize so many athletes when they put their goals, their views, their ideas in front of the team."
So it isn't okay for Villanueva to put his "feelings and beliefs"
before the team but it's fine for every player who is "taking a knee" to
do so?
